Apparently my drive that I back up my data to has lost its file system (it was NTFS, now, under disk management (Windows 7), it appears as RAW). Is there any way I can recover the file system and restore my backup to another drive? As I have important legal and tax documents backed up, time is a bit of the essence, so a prompt and professional answer would be much appreciated. THank you very much!!!

Is your backup drive an external USB HD with a security/unlocker app? I've seen that happen when the locked external doesn't properly unlock. Windows reports it as unformatted and therefore inaccessible, but it just needed to go through a successful unlock cycle and then became accessible again. It was not an Acronis issue at all, but was an issue with the HD's password/encryption utility.
