Delete Backup Hangs -- Does not complete.

I was trying to free up space on an external drive so that I could start a new cycle of backups.

I selected the backup set that I wanted to delete (right-Click -> delete) ... and waited ... and waited ... and waited.

After 30 minutes, I tried to reboot the PC ... and got a warning about "Waiting for form" ... but did not see a form. Alt-Tab did not cause any window to appear.

After the reboot, I tried again ... but first, I moved the Acronis window away from the center of the screen. Now I could see the confirmation window "Choose what you want to delete".

A recent Microsoft Security Update has an impact on the "z-order" of the windows (the top to bottom order of windows) ...
