Deleting old backups
I have Acronis 11, I just noticed on my ex. hard drive that there are tons of back up files as I do one full and then an incremental everyday. Is there a setting on Acronis 11 that would automatically get rid of the old back ups as a new one is done? I know my mom's Acronis 2010 does that....

Yes I have the same issue I am also using the invremental Back-Up system which sould automatically delete the older versions but it does not work it just says to find a new drive disk is full; not even an option to delete????????????
Does acronis not even care about their customers?
They don't even respond on here... I am never going to buy annother acronis product again I have had nothing but problems with this stuff from the begining; worst $200.00 dollars I ever spent!

This can happen because ATI lost track of older backups for some reason (upgrade, update, other...).
The best thing to do:
- first validate your backup, starting with the most recent one so that you are more confident you are going to keep a valid backup chain,
Option A: preferred
- copy (not move) the TIB files you want to keep (make sure you have the full if you have backup chaines) to another directory,
- export your backup settings,
- delete (not remove) the backup from ATI,
- delete any remaing TIB files that was not deleted,
- uninstall ATI,
- reboot
- reinstall ATI,
- import your backup settings
Option B (if copying your TIB files is not practical)
- take note of the backups you want to keep. Validate them individually,
- delete manually the backup you don't want, starting from the oldest one presumably,
- remove (not delete) the backup task from the list of backups,
- start a new backup task with a new name in a new directory,
- later, you can come back and delete the older TIB files from the backup you removed.
