Detected GRUB stage 2 loader

Thread needs solution

I am using ATIH2012 on a system that dual boots Windows 7 and SUSE Linux, when it is started there are messages in the log "Detected GRUB stage 2 loader on disk '\local\hd_sign(B9D58C18)'. Activated on partition", including details of the partition identifier.
I couldn't find any references to this message either on the forum or in the ATIH User Guide.
It seems to be a new feature of 2012 version, as I have been using various versions of the True Image product since 2003 on a multi-boot system and have not seen the message before.
Does anyone know why this message appears and should I worry about it? Why does it think that it needs to activate it?

Greetings,

I can't speak for Acronis specifically, but in Linux terms, this means stage 2 of GRUB has loaded a menu file which contains information about the partition(s) and operating system(s) on the disk which can be booted with GRUB. Its not a new feature of the product, and did exist in previous versions.

See This

There is nothing requiring activation. It merely states that the partition(s) on the disk that contain bootable operating systems (compatible with GRUB) have been detected and the partiton(s) is/are marked active.
