Did Activation BUT keeps asking to Activate

It goes on line and "activates" every time you start it. That's normal.

Assuming that in fact you actually haven't activated consider think link: http://forum.acronis.com/forum/26334 and what I said about the User Account Control (UAC). [If you click it and get "Activation Successful" more than once you are having the UAC problem.

I installed a trial version that expired after 30 days since my order (retail business) did not arrive in time. Since then, I have been trying to activate ATIH 2012 for over 2 weeks now, but I have been unsuccessful. I keep having this error message that the ATIH needs activation and it will not work otherwise, I cannot do anything with it.
I contacted Customer support and "chatted" with 7-8 different agents and spoke on the phone with another 2 (also asked for a supervisor). They are not able to solve the problem (also one agent made some changes to my computer that were not necessary and were permanent).
I get these error messages every time i turn on the computer and the Customer support is doing nothing to help me. I asked for a supervisor to contact me and I am still waiting (over a week).
By the way they say that Customer support is 24/7: that is not true. try to call them during the weekend and you will not get anyone to help you. my case has been escalated (at least it is what they said) but no one has contacted me in the last 4 days...............

Finally some expert at the company sent me the very latest build and I was able to activate it; I still have to try the full functionality; I hope I don't get any more problems or errors.

I am running ATIH2012 I have a similar problem but with a twist with constant requests for re-activation.

I running winXP Pro SP3 32bit with all service packs. I installed both ATIH2012 and DD2011. I am connected through the internet and have activated both products using the standard online method and both were successfully activated. However now ATIH2012 gives me a pop up which says, "ATIH has detected hardware changes and needs to be activated" (not exact wording but close. This comes up on start-ups, installation of software, removal of software, or deletion of trash or unused junk.

I go ahead and click the activate button and after about 30 seconds another pop-up says "activation was successful". Then it all starts again when one of the above actions occur. The products works ok, but this pop-up is driving me nuts.

I have deleted the program and reinstalled twice.

Gigabyte 8inxp board, ATI 9600 GPU All-in-wonder, 2GB ram, Master cooler 850 PWS, Intel 478/7502 chipset, P4HT 3.05 CPU. (old) 3 Maxtor 250G HD, no-raid

Welcome to our Forum, we're glad to greet you here.

Our Development team is aware of the issue, has already localized it, and the fix will be included into the upcoming update. Meanwhile please use the following workaround: remove TrueImageMonitor from
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run registry key (Start -> Run -> regedit)
and move it to Autostart (start menu folder).

This should solve the problem.

I am running True Image Home 2012 and have successfully ran backups in the past six months.

However, the past few weeks, I have been getting a pop-up message saying --

"Activation required! All operations except recovery are unavailable. Change serial number Activate now You can recover your data by using bootable media. Create bootable media"

Now none of my backups are running.

I checked for updates on the software and it tells me my software is up to date.

My understanding is when I purchased the boxed version, the serial number does not expire.

Please provide assistance asap. Thank you.
