Did I really create a sys drive backup
Did I follow the correct backup procedure?
On September 28, 2012, I did a drive C to drive D backup. C is by SYS file -- Windows 7 + application programs, but no user data. It went about as well as I expected, backing up 33,495,360 KB. Took abut 10-12 minutes, as I recall. Today I clicked the Acronis icon and it opened up to a different screen ... see the attachment.
Here's my setup:
"C" = system & program files
"D" = 1st "C" backup
"E" = Data files
"F" = "E" backup
"G" = 2nd "C" backup
So I saw the C to D backup, clicked back up now, and it took 4-5 minutes, backing up 9,473,720 KB.
I did the same thing for "F" -- and it backed up 10,144,009 KB.
Did I follow the correct procedure? I remember some backup program in the past requiring a reboot and it booted in Linux ... this was not the case ... it stayed in Windows. Should I be concerned?
