Did you know? ATI doesn't support >4Tb HD when used from bootable media
Thread needs solution
New here (but not new to Acronis)... is it generally known that when making backups/images using the bootable media approach that HDs of 4Tb and larger are not supported??? (probably the limit is lower). My guess (supported but log files I created and examined) is that the Linux OS doesn't support these large disks...
Backup starts and then stops, ATI hangs. After reboot, you'll find errors on the HD (they can be fixed with ScanDisk however).
Acronis has been aware since early 2013 and they have told me they are working on a solution...
Please note that Disk Director Home 11 doesn't support disks >2Tb at all (but that is documented).
