Disabling Automatic Resizing of partitions

Thread needs solution

Hi I have a particular problem...

I have an image I made from a desktop computer with a 500GB drive. I split the drive into two partitions, a 60GB C drive, and a 420GB D drive. The D drive is our data drive.

I am trying to restore to the same make and model of computer, with a 500GB drive. However, when I restore, Acronis resizes the C drive down to 30GB (27.9GB is used) and gives the rest to the D drive.

I am well aware I can tell re-size the partitions manually when I go to restore the image, however when you have multiple computers to do, it can be tedious to do as it adds many many steps to restoring an image.

Any way this can just be disabled all together, or force it to resize the D drive only? Am I missing a switch or setting somewhere that disables this? (either in the image creation process or when I go to restore).

Thanks.
