Disk Cloning. Please help

Thread needs solution

Hello,

i just installed the 2015 Acronis software. I just manually cloned my main C drive to a separate/internal SATA drive. but it does not appear to have an automatic cloning or backing up feature.

i feel i will have to do the cloning manually each time i want my C drive backed up.

is there an automatic schedule i can set up for it to automatically clone the C drive periodically?

Please help.

Please see: http://www.acronis.com/en-gb/download/docs/ati2015/userguide/ for the ATI 2015 User Guide which discusses Cloning.  This does not mention any method of automatically cloning your source to target drives other than doing this via the Cloning Wizard manually and with a reboot of the system to achieve this.

There may be other Acronis products that could do this but I suspect that this would be a business product if available.

I know that Farstone offer a business product that will do a Mirror drive clone in the way you ask but this again is a premium product.

You can of course set up scheduled automatic backup images of your source drive and store these on the target drive, including using the Non Stop Backup feature of ATI 2015.
