Disk copy (clone) won't 'Proceed'

Thread needs solution

ATI 2013. Source disk (120G) has two bootable partitions, XP and W7. Target disk (250G) was wiped to bare metal in another machine using WipeDisk Pro.

ATI 2013 was started from W7. I used manual choices because I wanted to adjust the size of the finished partitions. The XP partition was already bigger than necessary and after cloning, would have ended up even larger. So I selected a new size that was slightly larger than current.

Everything appeared to go well until I hit the 'Proceed' button when nothing further happened. Waited 5 then rebooted and tried again. Same result.

Can anyone suggest what I might be doing wrong, please.

Thanks.

If the proceed was greyed out, it was awaiting additional input from the user.

If the proceed option was accessible, not sure of the problem.

If there is any problem with the disk, this can cause issues and a check for disk error may be required.

You can review this link and see there is anything there of assistance.

There is also the option to create a disk image backup and then restore the image onto the target--same results and safer but takes a little longer.

Thanks GroverH. While I was waiting I tried doing the job with True Image 12 in DOS and that did it without problems. Just another computer mystery :-)
