Does the size of the drive factor in to the time it takes to b/u?

Thread needs solution

Hi there :)

Does the OS HDD size factor in to the b/u time, or is it only the amount of data. So, let's say your C HDD is 1TB, and has 300 GB used. Will it take longer to b/u that HDD, as opposed to a 500 GB HDD with the same exact amount of data?

Thanks in advance.

The amount of data is what directly affects back up time. The exception is sector by sector copy, in this case, the size of the disk directly affects back up time. CPU and memory play a smaller role in both cases.
