Don't forget 30 days Guarantee may be getting close
I upgraded to TI2015 on 17th September, only then did I find out about all the removed features and the minimal interface as the only option. I have been following this forum and am very disappointed that Acronis haven't to date addressed or acknowledged the problems mentioned by the other users, not what I would have expected. Within a day of installing TI2015, I removed it and have been trialling Paragon Backup and Time Machine over the past couple of weeks, very happy with both of them, but can't quite decide which one to purchase, both have their merits, I might purchase both.
Since the 30 day money back guarantee was about to expire and it seems that Acronis are not going to address the problems with TI2015 in the near future, I requested a refund from Cleverbridge yesterday, which they processed the same day, I only wish Acronis were that efficient.
I have been using PCs since 1984 and from day 1 have always made back-ups of important data, in those days to 5 1/4 floppy disks, have tried many automated backup software packages, but over past few years have used Acronis which in by opinion was far superior to anything else on the market with those extra features such as Try & Decide and integrated explorer type interface for just recovering a single file.
Over the past 30 years I have purchased a lot of software some of which hasn't always meet my needs, but I knew that up front, and accepted it, with TI2015 I feel that I have paid for, as many other have said, a downgrade, and this is the first time ever that I have requested a refund.
Bye Bye Acronis.
