Error installing True Image Home 2009

Thread needs solution

I am installing True Image Home on a new laptop, and the install is failing trying to write bittorrent.xml to a target folder

I can write ANY (other) file to this folder

But I CANNOT rename an existing file to bittorrent.xml, so there is something about this filename that my Win 7 doesn't like

I am not in control of the security of this pc

As I say, it's Win 7 Enterprise SP1

Please help

I am unwary of upgraing to a new True Image Home in case I have the same issue

Thanks

Phil G

Also, if your Windows 7 computer is part of a corporate network, there may be policy settings that will not allow you to install software that requires administrative access. You should check with your IT department for guidance.
