Excess Meta data Fragments?

Hi I have a fresh install of XP Pro, using Perfect Disk Pro 10 as a defragger......it displays zero file & meta data on defrag.......when I use the Iso Linux Boot CD of TI 2009 to make a Full back up it's sucessful so is the restoration....but when re run Perfect Disk it displays excess Metadata & File fragementaion....... despite repeated boot time defrag followed by Smart placement.......any clues........what am I doing wrong?
