exclusive access to backup file

Thread needs solution

since using NAS as backup medium nearly regularly I get an error message that Acronis TI cannot access the backup file for consolidation. But there is only one access to the NAS drive, namely Acronis.
The same problem arised also with Acronis 2014 with which I had to live because nobody could explain the reason and Support me in solving the problem. I thought that Acronis 2015 will solve the problem, but this is not the case.
is there any possibility to get rid of that behaviour?
thanks for any hint

Hi

I installed acronis on my server and installed the client on my PCs but when i do a back up from my server one of my PC its successful, but for the other it reports an error even when i enable the rights to access the mms.exe file, what should i do so that i can make a backup for my other PC?

Hello everyone.

Concerning Acronis Backup (mms.exe) - please refere to the appropriate forum thread.

As for backup with Acronis True Image 2015:
1) please check, if all the processes and program files of Acronis True Image are added to the exclusions list of antivirus and/or firewall software used on your PC, in case you are using it (you can find detailed how-to here: https://kb.acronis.com/content/47141 )
2) please check settings on NAS (antivirus, share settings, energy saving settings)
3) if previous steps do not help, please send Acronis System Report from the PC and provide detailed information on NAS (model, name etc. - please refer to the how to https://kb.acronis.com/content/46850)

Thank you for cooperation in advance.
Kind regards,

Hello Sergey Britvin
I was out of the thread for a while - now taking it up again. First: thanks your recommendations. In my opinion it cannot be the antivirus and/or Firewall since occasonally a backup run Ends successfully. As soon as I am free for a thouroug check I will follow your item 3)
Tahns and regards
