Extremely slow Recovery in TI2010/7046

Thread needs solution

Was attempting to clone my C: drive onto a larger drive. When executing the DiskCleanser, it didn't do anything. After 4+ hrs. of running to clear 108 GB of info from the new hard disk, all files remained. So I formatted the disk using Windows XP.
Then I attempted to recover all the data from my backup file (.tib) onto the new drive. It has taken over 5+ hrs. and still not done. Something is drastically wrong. Why would it take 1 hr 31 minutes to backup 108 GB of data and then over 5 hrs. to restore? Doesn't make any sense.
Any suggestions?

Hello W. Vern Hajek,

Thank you for your post. I will do my best to assist you.

I would really appreciate if you can clarify something for us please. Are you performing this operating in Windows, or, are you using our bootable CD?

In order to localize the issue and understand, if it is Windows or Acronis related, can you kindly download the latest version of our bootable CD and perform the same operations. Please let us know how it went.

Thank you.

Same problem here. A barely 100 GB system takes more than 2 hours to restore on brand new fast SATA hard disks. This is properly unacceptable. And yes, I'm using the bootable media (generated on a USB thumb drive, same sluggish performance for builtin option using F11).
