Hangs on loading boot CD - Dell XPS 8500

Thread needs solution

I recently upgraded my PC to a Dell XPS 8500, and have been having issues with the bootable CD for Acronis True Image Home 2012. This CD has worked for me on several different PCs, but unfortunately when I try to use it on the new PC, it fails. The "Starting Acronis Loader" screen boots just fine, as does the screen where the options of "boot to windows", "start Acronis", or "start Acronis system report" are given, but when I click on the start acronis option, the screen just turns blank, and stays like that.
I tried the method where F11 is clicked, the word quiet removed and then Acronis is started, but the same thing happened, with no debug information.
Can anyone please help?

You might need a custom bootcd (see p. 222 of userguide) or need to make a winpe bootcd.

Removing "quiet" only causes the instructions to display as they are executed. But entering a diff parameter might help. Often entering nopic and acpi=off will do the trick (see p. 162 of userguide)

Thanks Scott!
I tried changing the parameters but still couldn't get it to work. I then created a BartPE custom CD with the SATA and network card drivers included. I got these straight from the drivers CD that came with the computer and put it into the pebuilder\drivers\* directory into their respective folders.
