HDD turn uninitalized after recovery halted
Dear Sir/Mdm,
Hope to have the answer for my problem asap.
I have created my backup via Aronic True image 2009, the image has been running fine and i have done it several times. The error happen while i was recovering the saved imaged at 70% it just hanged hence i restarted my pc.
From that point till now, im unable to initialized the hdd anymore, i have tried all ways but it gives the error "The request could not be performed because of an I/O".
This is definitly not my hard disk problem becos the system is working fine but i just wanna restore to a cleaner OS. Im unmable to use the chkdsk /? as the disk letter as its uninitalized.
Hope to hear from your asap. Thx.

Dear Pat L,
thx for your prompt response.
This seems unable to work for me; i have tried
1) Win 7 Installation disc boot \ command prompt \ Disk Part
- Select Disk 0
- Clean = Successful
- Clean All = I/O Failed
- Create partition primary Size=50000 - I/O Failed
2) Gparted from Dos Boot
- Create new partition
- I/O Failed
3) Macbook Disk Utility
- Create new drive - Failed
4) Remo Recover (Windows)
- Nil recovery partition (1hr 20mins scan)
5) EASEUS Partition (Windows)
- "There are several errors to create new partition"
6) System Rescue CD (DOS)
- Gparted - Failed creating new partition I/O Error
Sad for my LiteOn 256GB SSD M2S as now its totally unable to work at all?
My image is working fine with my purchased Acronis 2009, the back up and recovery is fine with it but now what caused my problem is that i used the Acronis 2013 30 days trial. I tried to recovery my working image with this 2013 boot thumbdrive, the system hang @ 70% therefore i restarted my system. From there, my hdd turn to be uninitialized and no solution for now. Hope to hear any working solutions. Thx
Using Acronis 2013 windows, its indicate that 0x100155 error (attached) and deny my initialize HDD but i am able to successful initialized and restore image to my SSD with Acronis 2013 DOS boot disk but it will turn back uninitialized once i restart the system.
is there a bug in the Acronis 2013 ?

In some cases, some SSD can end up being locked, in particular when user try to secure erase them. You will have to look this up in the forums for your disk and see if there is a solution. SOme users report that booting the computer, disconnecting the SATA Power and reconnecting it can solve the lock issue.
I am not sure it is a lock issue, though.
It looks like you have a hardware problem with the disk, since no utility can access it. You can try a different SATA port, connector, or drive controller in your mother board or another computer to verify this is a disk issue. It might be bricked.
