home version 2012, clone feature not working

Thread needs solution

When I try to do a clone, it seems to work (requires a reboot of the laptop), but I just get error messages on the "DOS" screen (text messages).
I have tried to upgrade, but it gives me the error that my current version is corrupt and could not be removed.
Anybody encounter this?

A clone process is best done when booted into the user create TI Recovery CD.

Hello, you should download the Acronis Cleanup Utility which completely removes Acronis. This will allow you to do a clean install or allow a new version to be installed.
