How can I back up my C: drive Created on Win 7 32 bit to a New PC Using Win 7 64bit

Thread needs solution

Hi all,

It's time again to get a new PC. Right now I'm running the 32 bit Version of Windows 7. The PC I want to buy has the 64bit version of Win 7.

I can't figure out how to do that. I know restoring my partition won't work and restoring the files would not change the registry entries. Is there any EASY way to do this or will I have to bite the bullet and just reinstall my programs.

Any suggestion appreciated,

jeff

It's impossible to convert a 32-bit Windows installation to a 64-bit one.
