How can I retrieve the backup settings from my machine?
I am running Home 12 (latest release), and after installing/upgrading yesterday, my backup scheme and naming convention disappeared. I'm simply trying to find it from one of the backups. I had a nice naming convention that included the date. i was using an incremental backup that made a complete on Sunday, and then 6 subsequent incremental backups (daily at 2am). I only kept the 2 most recent chains and this has worked nicely from a size and time perspective. Now I'm trying to find/recreate that and simply don't know where (in one of the backups I still have) that file is located so I can copy it into the updated file. If anyone can assist, I would REALLY appreciate it. I'm still miffed that after purchasing the product you have to pay for support. Thank you in advance.

You could try copying the specific backup script from the script folder inside your backup file.
If using XP, the script would be at this link inside the backup file.
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts\
you would be better to start a new task pointing to a new empty subfolder.
To add date to the file name add
-@date@-
to the tib file name. The dashes are separators to be left in.
Change the 6 and 4 to meet your needs. It sounds like you want to keep the 6 and change the 4 to 2.

Grover you are correct, the backup scripts are indeed stored in your backup file, but only if your backup contained the folders in which they reside.
You would need to explore or mount the backup file to be able to get to the scripts stored within it.
Thanks for the reminder Grover. Might have to dig one out someday.
