How do I cancel automatic backups

Thread needs solution

Please could you assist in this matter.

I back up my whole hard drive once a week manually via true image & this is sufficient for me.

However, every day true image automatically attempts to do a back up which always fails but is really distracting while it attempts this & probably also slows down my computer while this is on the go. I have attempted many times to cancel this automatic backup but it always continues happening.

How can I get acronis to stop attempting backups in this way?

Under 'Settings-schedule' I always turn off whatever the schedule is but it always defaults back to some sort of scheduling. How can I stop this?

The backup task is created once with all the settings (scheduled or non-scheduled) you want and then saved under the "Backup later" option.
After task is completed and saved any and all future non-scheduled backups are initiated by opening the program, placing mouse pointer inside the specific backup task and clicking the "Backup now" option which is located inside task-extreme right margin. Therefore, a repetitive task requires NO repeat of the one time setting the options.

Should you want to backup different areas or to a different target,
then one of the ways to utilize prior settings would be to use the "edit settings/clone settings" option which would create a new duplicate backup task. Then, edit the duplicate and make changes as to its name, storage folder, backup name--or whatever changes that are needed for the new task.

Another method of utilizing repetitive settings would be to use a prior saved custome backup scheme; or create a new custom backup scheme and save it for future use. This would allow for the same settings to be used multiple times without any additional backup scheme creations.
