How to make a cd with secure boot

Thread needs solution

I have windows 8 core, toshiba laptop, secure boot feature -

I turn on secure boot, try to boot the acronis boot media, and it says that one of the files on the disc is not allowed for secure boot feature.

So I turn off secure boot, and the computer does not even boot at all. It just hangs at the Toshiba start screen.

What I am asking is, is it possible to get a secure bootable version to use with windows 8, or is it not possible to backup this hard drive?

I installed the hard drive in my windows 7 pro computer, and the drive is grayed out and will not allow me to backup the drive that way either.

Is there a fix?

To boot in Windows, you need both Secure boot and UEFI boot to be enabled.
To boot on the recovery CD, you need both Secure boot and UEFI disabled, you need Legacy BIOS enabled.

To switch back and forth, you need to enable/disable as appropriate.

I just bought a Dell laptop. Trying to clone, but through windows 8. Guess I messed up. I presently see screen that says Acronis, Loading, please wait and does not look like anything is happening.

You can shutdown the computer and restart.
Always do system clones and disk/partition recoveries from the recovery CD.

The whole reason I bought Acronis is so that I could let it automatically clone my new windows 8 hd to a new SSD. It just aborts to "you must restart now" and never works - I don't really understand why a boot drive is needed. Help is appreciated!

@Theodore Trerice :
You can disable SecureBoot and to boot you have to press a key at start to get to Bootmenu - on most ( not all) machines F12 where you select your UEFI-bootdevice - please use the BootCD Build 6528 which you can download from your Acronis-account.
Login to your Acronis-account, go to Registered Products/TIH2013/BootableMedia and download that ISO - although it says Build 6514 it really is Build 6528 - 386MB!

wrong - to boot Windows 8 you may disable SecureBoot even though UEFI is enabled.

You should use cloning using Boot-CD with new SSD intern!, old HDD extern.
