How to Reset backup job - errors after manual file cleanup

Thread needs solution

I recently deleted a number of backup versions I no longer needed to make space on the external HD, only keeping the last set of files. Now I get one notification error message for each version I deleted. The last notification has all the deletion attempts for them missing file with one last entry, backup completed successfully. The backup job seems to have worked because it has created a new version full backup and associated incremental file.

Is there any way to reset a backup job without have to delete and recreate the job with all the specifications? Sometimes things go awry, disks are swapped out etc and it would be nice just to have backups keep going with a best effort, or at least with some kind of "start over" option.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Michael,

If you manually deleted the images, that is using Windows Explorer instead of through TI 2013, right click on the image archive from the listing in True Image and when the archive lists the individual slices - right click and delete the ones that you have removed. Perhaps the easier way would be to remove the archive from the list (don't delete the archive, just the listing) and then use the browse for backups option to relist them.

Either of these methods should reset the database.
