How to revcover a Raid Volume

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I have made a backup of my windows 7 64 bit installation. This resides on a Volume of a Raid 0 array on a highpoint 2720 controller. there are 2 volumes on this array c & d.

When i try to recover the C partition the raid volumes are not detected - have i done anything wrong.
I have made a USB boot disk and the backup file resides on another harddriive on my system.

regards
Carl

The Acronis 2013 Rescue Media you created, or downloaded, is based on Linux, as such it probably does not have support for the HighPoint 2720 controller, and the drivers can not be added to it. The solution in your case would be to use the 2013 Plus Pack to create a WinPE based Acronis Rescue Media and inject the HighPoint 2720 drivers into it so that you can backup, restore, and vaildate backups stored on the RAID controller. You can see the controller and it's volumes in Windows because you have installed additional Windows drivers or Windows natively supports it.

Thank you for the reply...does a step by step guide exist? :)
