HP 6200 pro not booting from bootable image
Hi. I can not get my HP6200 pro to boot using the rescue media build 6154. I get three choices on screen
1. Acronis True Image Home
2. Acronis System Report
3. Continue booting
When I choose number 1 the PC stops responding, showing the message "Loading Acronis"
Is there another build available that will solve this?
Thanks.

Do you have a link to the iso for the recovery disk?
Thanks.

register your serial number on the Acronis web site. Log in to the acronis web site. Go to Product Updates, find the product on the list and drill down to the bootcd/iso; download and burn to cd.

I can find the section to download older builds but this just downloads the exe with no link to older bootable media.
Thanks.

Awk! You're right. I hadn't been there in a while. Sorry to have mislead. I don't know why they don't have older builds of the bootcds, plugins, etc. available.

I created a recover CD from the 6131 install but unfortunately it still will go no further than
Acronis

You can try start up parameters.

I am having exactly the same problems with the same build and a HP 6200 Pro - also had same issue with build 6131
I've gone through the startup parameters but still no joy - maybe its a specific set of parms??

Hello everyone,
Thank you for your comments and thank you for your help Scott.
Ewan and Keith, I am very sorry to hear about these issues. I would suggest to contact our Support team with this report collected from the bootable media - Generating Acronis System Report from Acronis Bootable Media without Booting into GUI.
If you need additional help please let me know.
Thank you.

Hi Anton,
The 2012 Hme Plus is useless to me at this time as I am unable to image the HP 6200 Pro so had to go back to an older version

Hi Keith, what is the version and build number of ATIH that you have had success with? Is there any way you could let me have a copy of the iso you are using?
Thanks.

Hi Ewan,
I'm using ATIH 2011 Plus update 3 (build 6942) this should be available via the Acronis web site, if you had purchased AITH 2011
Sorry but I'm not in a position to give you a copy of the ISO i have

Thanks for the info Keith. Unfortunately I went from 2010 to 2012 so have no versions of 2011 available in my account.
Can anyone from Acronis post me a link to the iso for the build Keith mentioned?
Thanks.

If you own a valid license for it, then you can simply download it. If not, then you literally have no license to use it.

Ewan was asking Acronis staff, rather than users, if there was a way of getting a older version. I would hope that the fact he has purchased a license for 2012, and this does not work as it should, that Acronis would see no issue with giving out a link, maybe via PM, to use an older version.
I would consider that customer service

He probalby needs to contact customer service for that. This is not the place to try to contact Acronis staff; it's iffy in the very best of times.

I had the exact same problem and a colleague pointed me to this thread. I too have a 6200 Pro and the latest build of 2012 15.0.6154.
Scott Hieber pointed in the right direction. The boot parameter I chose below made the most sense with the new support for UEFI*.
Create your bootable media with the Bootable media startup parameters "pci=nobios" and you're off and running.
*With the UEFI support you'll also note (maybe too late) that if you install Windows 7 without paying attention to the disk management process, it will use GPT instead of the MPR partition style. It's all good if that's what you wanted in the first place, but you'll need the Acronis Plus Pack to support it.
