HUGE incrementals every day from unused computer

Thread needs solution

On Win 8.1 laptop where full backup is 63 GB, daily incrementals are 8 - 10 GB every day even though machine unused for two weeks.

Exploring some of the daily TIB files, looks like a great deal of static content is included, like most of \boot, most of \Program Files, though none of \Documents and Settings is included.

I'm seeing essentially the same behavior on two other machines, all running daily incemementals with ATI 2014.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - this is eating up backup drives very quickly.

Thank you!!!

True Image works by tracking used disk sectors. Any backup is a backup of used sectors.
Something on the Windows system is making changes to the disk. It could be system restore points, or some type of automatic defrag.
This is one place to start looking.

Thank you.

That's so odd to me. I've been using ATI since somewhere around version 3 and never noticed this behavior.
