Huge trouble in system shutdown
I installed ATI 2015 few weeks ago ... windows 8.1 new PC.
I set up few backups, total 3tb of datas.
I had immediatly one problem still not solved where ATI kept on backing me up EVERY day exactly 128gb of data from 2 disks that had not modifications at all ...
But since the day i installed ATI i had a major much more serious issue... every system shut down windows were keeping me with the message "Operations are in progress, please wait ... The machine will be turned off automatically after the operations are compelte"
Blue screen for about 1-2 hours!!!!!!!!!! Several times I had to hard reset with all the bad consequences.
Only today I realized the cause of this was ATI. I found tons of posts since several years on this known unresolved issue. I tried to change the only setting related to the backup validation but with no success.
Finally I succeded in my operation: I uninstalled the VIRUS, I uninstalled ATI. Now the shutdown takes 5 to 10 seconds.
So, because I paid a year licence I have a doubt: have i wasted my money or is there any way to solve this second issue? A sure way ... i have no time to investigate and do test. The issue is known so if ACRONIS is interested to solve it they should have several cases to test...
Sorry for the sarcasm but i do not like wasting my time to make work a backup after having paid money...
Any suggestion?

i had to unisntall the software and stop the test on this problem when i realized that ATI was the cause of the other much bigger problem...
i couldn't wait 2 hrs every boot....
Anyway: no hybrid, no defrag, no any scheduled activity, no system protection, no file history. Backup was differential on folders.
Before continuing i need to understand if the shutdown issue is solvable. Am I the only one with the problem now?

sorry for the delayed answer!
The thing is, that in Acronis True Image 2014 and earlier versions it was default behavior to show "Operations are in progress, please wait. The machine will be turned off automatically after the operations are complete." message if the machine gets shut down or restarted while Acronis task is running. Please take a look at this article for more information.
In Acronis True Image 2015 we changed program design so that all Acronis tasks running at the moment when machine is restarted or shut down are immediately aborted and have "cancelled by user" status after that.
If by any chance you change your mind and install Acronis True Image 2015 I will appreciate if you send me a system report gathered on the machine in question. You can also send your feedback directly to development using "Help- send feedback" feature. Please make sure that "Attach system report" check box is checked.

Installed Acronis True Image 2016. System: Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit.
Endless loop when shutdown or restart:
After updates of windows or changes of parameters of windows there are problems with shutdown or restart of PC:
I see the blue screen with message: "Acronis True Image is terminating the current operations, please wait. The computer will be turned off automatically in about two minutes".
But the computer will not be turned off after a long time (30 min.) => endless loop and I must press the power-button for shut-down.
