Thread needs solution

I continually get this error no such script found 0A430CBA-649F-4FF8-BE4C-31946DCC183E'.
http://kb.acronis.com/errorcode/
Event code: 0x0001006C

It also tells me that there is no such script in the line before

I cannot determine where this error is coming from. I would delete whatever is causing it if I knew what it was. It does not allow me to get the green color on the tasks and logs menu, bu it shows in the email that it completed successfully. So I don't know if it is any good or not. Help!!!

Hello John,

Let me assist you.

There are two possible causes:

  • You are trying to run an Acronis True Image task under a Windows user account different from the one the task was created;
  • The original task script (*.tis) was removed from the Scripts folder:

Windows XP: Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts

Windows Vista/7: Program Data\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts

Although the task script is removed from the Scripts folder, it is still registered in Acronis Scheduler. Every time the scheduled task starts, Acronis Scheduler checks all the registered task scripts and gives the error message if any of the scripts are not found in the Scripts folder.

To fix the issue, please do the following:

1. Download and extract the following archive:

https://www.acronis.com/r/support/en/kb/1054/script_fix.zip

2. Run the script_fix.vbs file.

(!) This will remove all scheduled tasks.

If the issue still persists, please collect AcronisInfo and submit a support request.

Please reply to this thread if you have any further questions.

Thank you.

I also got that errors with Event code: 0x0001006C, after I deleted a scheduled task.
And the script didn't work at all for my Windows Vista.
Are there any special rights to run this script successfully?

Hello Takemi,

Please delete all tasks manually the following way:

- Download the http://www.acronis.com/files/support/schedmgr.exe file ;
- Start the Command Prompt from Start -> Programs -> Accessories menu;
- Run the following commands in the folder you saved the file to:

  • schedmgr task zap

This should delete all Acronis scheduled tasks on the PC.

You should manage your scheduled tasks from the scratch.

Please reply to this thread if you need any further assistance.

Thank you.

Thank you in advance.
I tried the commands "schedmgr task zap".
This deleted all Acronis scheduled tasks on my PC. I comfirmed that.
But after reboot the Windows Vista, all tasks are recovered.
That's irritating me the most.
Why they are recovered?

Hello Takemi,

Actually, Acronis Scheduler module itself also has tasks. Please update this module using the instructions below, it should resolve the issue:

  1. Download the latest build of Acronis Scheduler;

  2. Run the downloaded file. It will automatically update the service;

    See if the issue is resolved. If it is not, then please proceed with steps 3 and 4:

  3. Reboot the machine;
  4. Recreate the scheduled tasks.

Thank you.

Hello Ilya,

Thank you in advance.

That worked fine.
Now the scheduled tasks were disappeared.
And even I reboot the machine, they are not recovered.

And the errors like "errors no such script" disappeared.

Thank you again.

Hi,

I am evaluating a TrueImage Home for purchase. Everything was running fine until about a week ago and then I started getting this same error. The script it is looking for is 6C560F9C-C45C-45BE-8299-4C952C29F86E. I've tried everything above to no avail - deleting all jobs with schedmgr, updating the scheduler service and rebooting. It did delete my backup scripts.

I've noticed a couple of things. First, my backup scripts complete successfully but I still see this error. Second, even with no backup scripts scheduled (after I did the delete) I still saw this error the next day.

I was happy with the product and was fully intending to purchase it at the end of my trial period in about five days. But unless this can be resolved I'll have to look at another product.

I am running XP Professional.

Thanks.

Hi Yana,

Yes I have done everything Ilya suggested and it hasn't solved anything. Specifically, here is what I have done so far:

1) Installed trial version a little over three weeks ago.
2) Set up two scripts to run at midnight every day (full + differential backups with automatic 2 week rotation as in section 13.4.4).
3) This ran fine for two weeks.
4) On third week starting Monday I started seeing the failures in log although *my* script was still executing without failure.
5) Up until this point I had made absolutely no scheduling changes of any kind to the original setup.
5) After about a week I looked up error code on forum and ran VB script to delete all tasks as recommended by Ilya.
6) Updated scheduler as recommended by Ilya.
7) Rebooted computer to make sure tasks were still deleted as recommended by Ilya.
8) Cleared out error log. All clean, no tasks scheduled.
9) Next day I still saw the error in the log which happened at midnight even though I had *no* tasks defined.
10) Recreated my tasks.
11) My task still runs at midnight without failure but I still see the other error message in the log right after my task finishes.

My goal was simply to set up a schedule and let it run for the entire trial period to make sure everything worked reliably before purchasing. I have opened case #00797169. Can you please see that it is expedited - I only have three days left on my trial version.

Thanks,
Mike

I am having the same problem.

I get a message that the script is no longer there but when I look in the folder where they are stored it is in there. I deleted all scripts and verified they were gone. I then created new scripts and they failed.

I downloaded the .vbs file that cleans out the scheduler. All scripts were wiped out. The scheduler then showed one job that was an invalid script. I created new scripts and verified that they were in the folder, one by one as I created them.

I still get an error that the script does not exist. Could this be because the file type is .tib.tis, that is, a double dot extension? If so, where is that coming from?

When Acronis works it works well. Keeping it working is becoming increasingly challenging.

I have been researching this problem and I have found two sources that I feel may be of use to members wanting to know where these files are stored. Although these sources are dated, I feel they will be of value, and give an insight into how these scripts are used. In order to obtain the most information from these sources, you should open all links. Go to the following:
