I have True Image Home 2009 -- where do I get started performing a migration?

Thread needs solution

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but I couldn't find a how-to guide on how to get started migrating to a new computer from a True Image 2009 backup (done a few months ago).

Info: old PC was Windows 7 and so is new PC. I have what appears to be a perfectly good backup .tib on an external harddrive. Sadly old PC is now dead. Both are Dells. I still have my True Image 2009 disc and packaging. What do I do to get started? Is there a FAQ out there for True Image 2009?

The kind of questions I have are things such as: do I need to install iTunes and Firefox on the new computer before running the migration? When I do the migration, will iTunes know where my music library is and will Firefox copy my old settings and add-ons? Will Windows know where my Word documents and pictures are?
