I need to revert to 2010 stable release
How do I go back from 2011 version to 2010?
My support has expired. I don't want to work on this (build 6696)release any more. Please help me migrate my license to a stable release.
From my recent experience from your support personnel, it'll be foolish for me to pay for support now.
What is the way out?

Hello.... You best bet (if you can) is to recover to a time that you had 2010 installed ...The Acronis "removal tools" ...well lets just say that.. i have no faith. Also stick with 2010 V-7046, and only do manual backups... Acronis removal is difficult at best (any version) and will leave lots of "stuff" that will cause you problems. Regards Fred

Thanks but neither I have v2010 installer nor a valid license of it. I've recently purchased v2011. How can I go back to v2010? I don't want v2010. Even if I can get v2010 from somewhere in internet, I don't think my license will be backwards compatible.

If you had a licensed version of 2010, you should still have access to that version from your Acronis Account. You will need to license number to have access to it if you didn't register that number earlier.
If you have the 2010 installer somewhere, you can uninstall 2011 and reinstall 2010.
If you have a backup of your system with 2010 installed, you could create a content backup, restore your older backup and then restore your most recent content backup.
Finally, if you cannot get your hands on a backup or an installer, you might be able to find the 2010 installer on the Internet and use your 2010 license number to activate it.

Your 2011 license won't be compatible with a 2010 installer. Unless Acronis customer support provides you with a downgrade, you would be left with buying a new 2010 license on your own, if you can find a legitimate source of this old version.
