Install ATI 2012 with Disk Director 2014 Errors

I installed ATI 2012 and then proceeded to install DD 2014. But I get errors in installation (error code 0x00620002+0x0000fff0+0x80070643). But when I install DD first then install ATI I also get an error message. Is ATI 2012 and DD 2014 incompatible with each other?

During installation DD is saying it will be replacing some common files with ATI during installation, if I proceed with this my system crashes and gets stuck in a boot loop (good thing I had a back up). Has anyone also encountered this error? Any suggestions to a fix so I can use both ATI and DD together?
