Installingg again true image after a PC crash

Thread needs solution

Hi,
Unfortunately I had to recover my computer from a crash restarting from the factory default.
I have a complete backup of the system (done using True Image) on an external disk but I dont want to use it to recover the system files.
No matter on recovering data using the True Image recovery disk.
My problem is installing again True Image 2014 on my PC after the system files recovery.
I bought the "upgrade" version of 2014 some weeks ago, so I need to know if it could be possible to install the product with the "upgrade" package and "upgrade" key, or I must start from a full installation package (as say in my case, True Image 2010).

Thank you and best regards.

Antonio

You only need to install 2014 but do check your Acornis webaccount to get the latest build of 2014.
The 2014 upgrade is a full standalone install. If 2014 is still installed, restarting your current installation file will give you a repair option which will overwrite the existing 2014
However, if you have to do a fresh install, you will need both the 2010 and 2014 serial numbers and both are available from you online account.

I have Acronis 2014 home and encountered a problem, which indicated that I would need to load the original disk and type Repair which would fix the problem. I have done that and the repair says that it loaded successfully and that Acronis is ready to use. I click start program and receive an error message "Unable to read record from registry". Is there anything else I can do?
