iSCSI Support in Recovery mode (or in general) for True Image 2013?

Thread needs solution

Hi everyone,

I searched regarding the topic but only found mixed, non-definitive information on this topic. I would appreciate a straight up answers on this topic: Does True Image 2013 include iSCSI Support, in general and also when doing a total recovery? Thanks in advance for any help!

Interesting question. I don't know the exact answer, in theory drives all accept SCSI commands, but.........

I think in windows it would, not so sure about in the recovery environment. I'll see if i can find out for you.

The recovery media for True Image 2013 does not work with iSCSI drives, but ABR11.5 Workstation and above does.

Windows 8 based WinPE 4.0 offers support for iSCSI by installing WinPE-WMI into the base WinPE 4.0 image. Once this is done, you can build a WinPE 4.0 based Acronis True Image 2013 Rescue Media image that can access iSCSI attached storage.
You would have to purchase the additional True Image 2013 Plus Pack to be able to create a WinPE ISO based on either WinPE 3.0/3.1 (Windows 7 / 7 SP1) or WinPE 4.0 (Windows 8). Only the Windows 8 based WinPE 4.0 can provide access to iSCSI devices.
