A large number of Backups wish to delete

Thread needs solution

I have True Image 2013 w/ the plus pack and I back up several drives with this. On my main computer wherein it is utilized, I have the following backups for my C-Drive:

The latest, done today:
My_C_Partition_full_b1_s1_v1-2.tib

and the following additional backups done between 6/6/13 & 6/27/13:

My_C_Partition_full_b1_s1_v1.tib 6/6/13
My_C_Partition_inc_b1_s2_v1.tib 6/11/13
My_C_Partition_inc_b1_s3_v1.tib 6/27/13

I thought I would be doing and incremental backup of C but when I hit the back up button it apparently did a new complete backup. So is there any reason to keep the above 3 backups? I also backup a D drive to the same location. Thank you.

Hello Philip,
welcome to Acronis forum!

I will be happy to answer your question.

You can easily delete the backup chain

My_C_Partition_full_b1_s1_v1.tib 6/6/13
My_C_Partition_inc_b1_s2_v1.tib 6/11/13
My_C_Partition_inc_b1_s3_v1.tib 6/27/13

since My_C_Partition_full_b1_s1_v1-2.tib is a full independent backup.

It is easy to see by following attribute:

type of the backup (full, inc, diff :full, incremental, differential).

More information about backup file naming you can find here.

Let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
