Latest Version of TIH 2012 No Longer Reads Removable SD Cards

I was using an older version of TIH 2012 to create backup images (sector by sector) of important SD cards. Today I upgraded to the most recent version of 2012 only to find that it no longer reads removable media as the Source. There was no mention of this significant change in the documentation. Has anyone else had this experience? If so, did you find a workaround or did you have to go back to an older version?
