Maybe acronis could add support of gpt tables to true image standard

Thread needs solution

Hi there,
when i was looking this thread i saw there are realy a lot people having problems to restore they're drives cause GPT. Offten they don't seem to understand this and so you find allot lot topic with the same problem.

Before all of them get rid of acronis would it be better to support this table type in standard editions.

If not then my proposol to the users buy plus pack cause GPT is apart of the UEFI standard wich will be the next generation bios setup and uefi is getting more and more common.

Hello Daniel,

Thank you for your post.

Acronis True Image 2012 Home supports UEFI and GTP disks.

GPT disks are supported with several limitations.

If you experience any issues with this, please collect the following report and contact our Support team for additional investigation. Please note, that we do not charge support fees if it is a recovery issue.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

GPT support is reserved for plus pack users.
