Media Recover Unreadable

This occurred with TrueImage 2010 also, but it is now more critical for me to get it resolved.

After loading the Acronis Loader, the screen is virtually unreadable.

I am working with a Dell 2350 computer with 1gb of memory and an
Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics controller.
The monitor is an ACER flat screen. Model Number P19-1W

I checked FAQ and it said to hit F11 and then put VGA=ask into command line.

I did so, and still got garbled screen. Tried both 800x640 and 1024x? No luck. The antimalware download does work correctly.

Somewhere I saw a downloadable version of the media recovery disk and thought I'd try that, but I couldn't locate it when I went back to try.

Any suggestions.
