I would like to disable this message well. I have no plans to use Online Backup.

Same problem, very annoying. Hope I can find the answer somewhere.
Have another question: used to be able to do full backups and their incrementals then as I felt like it I could take the full backup and it's incrementals and move to another locataion leaving dir empty. This would start over full 1st, incrmentals later. Not with 2012 seems to have problem. CSR told me not to ever move files. Well if my system crashed and I booted up recovery disk, it does not require previous versions to be available only one you want to recover. I'm still not convinced the CSR was right and going to experiment so more unless anyone has an answer as to why shouldn't be able to do this?

Hi

I have this same annoying problem. My Acronis log is also full of regular messages that my subscription has expired despite the fact that I have never had a subscription.

I first started using Acronis with the 2011 Version and then upgraded it to the 2012 Version. One of these may have given me a one month's trial of the Online backup Service which I have never taken up.

I can find no way of disabling this service, either from with the Acronis software or by way of My Account on the Acronis website.

Surely there must be a way of removing this annoying bug.

If you are not using Sync or Online backup, you can eliminate the expired message from appearing by signing off in ATIH 2012. Click on your email address in the top right corner to be able to log out.

Mark,
As Acronis uses a database to keep track of the backup files included with a particular task, it is better to create a new task when you want to start over. You can remove the old task from the list, and then move the old backup files to any place you want. I would suggest that you copy the backup files you wish to move to your intended location, then do a validation on the files in the new location before deleting the originals.

Thanks for the tip - it did work, but for some reason my ATIH2012 refused to open up after doing this.

As it happens there was a new build available so I did an uninstall/reinstall and the annoying reference to online backups has now disappeared.
