Mirrored drives seen as 2 separate when restoring

Thread needs solution

I am attempting to restore a system image to a HP ML110 G6 server which is configured with a Mirrord volume (2 disks). Upon restoring, instead of seeing a single disk I am seeing both disks. I elect to restore to disk 1 and it seems to go through well and the restore is successful. However upon booting I get a BSOD. Diagnostics reveal a hiccup when loading "disk.sys"

I would like to find out if this is normal behaviour for True Image, or should I be seeing one disk?

It should be seeing one disk. The problem here is more than likely due to the hardware drivers not being adequate for your set up. The bootCD uses linux for the OS and the drivers aren't always what one needs -- being an open architecture, PCs have so many combos of hardware that it's hard to cover them all. You have a couple of options here to get a working bootCD:

sign into Acronsi.com and go to your registered products and download the iso for the bootCED. This is a different loader and has some diff drivers and might work better for you,. Just burn the ISO to cd with any CD burner.

contact tech through chat -- they'll ask you to collect some info from your pc and send them a file and they'll probably be able to send you an iso that will make a bootcd that will work on your machine. I had to do this with ATI10.
