Missing One Click Backup in True Image Home 2012

There is none. In my opinion, the One Click backup was confusing to users and may not backup the right things to be able to recover your computer.
Instead, make sure that you create:
- a disk and partition backup of the disk(s) containing your systems and apps. Switch to the disk mode as you set up this backup to make sure you select the entire disk(s)
- a bootable recovery CD that you have tested: you have booted the computer on it and you have restored a couple of files from it.

That's not my opinion at all, that is one of the main reasons why I bought the program. Also it is no longer possible to choose a directory as a destination for a backup. So I'll look around, if there are other programs with a similar funktion.
Do Akronis really asks its customers, when they make such big changes?

It is possible to choose a directory as a destination. Click on the proposed destination, choose browse (you might have to scroll down to see the option).
When the destination dialog box opens up, double click your way until you have opened the target directory. In the box below, enter the backup name you want.
