Need a TIH 2011 Recovery CD without splash screen - doesn't boot with Dell Vostro 3750

Thread needs solution

Hi,

do you know from where I can get an Acronis TIH 2011 ISO image
- without Splash screen
- which allows eventually to enter some Linux kernel arguments ...

The problem with my Dell Vostro 3750 is, that I see the splash screen and then it seems to kinda hang there ... waiting for 5+ minutes and Acronis doesn't startup properly.

I tried with with and without and peripherals (ext. mouse, ext keyboard, USB backup drive)
but also that doesn't bring a change.

I tried 2 different versions of Acronis and get the same result, hangs in the splash screen.
Acronis TIH 2010 #7046
Acronis TIH 2011 #6942 (latest build)

Hello Andy!

Thank you for using Acronis software.

You can get Acronis bootable media downloading it from your personal account at Acronis.com. Follow this article for more information.

I also can suggest you to generate and run an Acronis WinPE bootable media and try to see if the issue persists.

If it does not help, please contact our Support team.

If there is anything else I can do for you, please let me know.

Thank you, have a good day.

Andy,

The standard Linux recovery CD allows you to enter some parameters by hitting F11 at the time the menu shows up that allows you to launch ATI or launch Windows.
There is now no way for the users to remove the splash screen, but it is possible to get the CD to auto-select the menu option. For example, I have set it up to start ATI automatically because my mouse is inoperative to select anything.
