Since I replaced the motherboard in my computer (the old one died), TI thinks I have installed it on an additional computer and won't let me activate it. Anyone know what to do about this?

never mind, I figured it out. I just had to notionally deactivate and remove it from the computer with the defunct motherboard, then it will activate on this computer (which is really the same computer).
