newbie question for a new ssd
I just got an crucial 256gb ssd it came with a free copy of True Image 2014 HD. I currently have 2 two terabyte drives. How exactly do I copy or move the windows 7 over to the ssd so that it will be the booted hard drive? Once that is complete I would like to move my Origin games folder to the ssd for speed. Any and all help appreciated for this.

I thought this would be an easy process. I thought this software would just work like an app mover and bring over the os. I figured I could run Windows off the ssd along with my Origin folder and leave all the other programs to run from the old primary hard drive. My hard drive is 2 terabytes and the ssd is only 256 gigabytes so I don't know how its supposed to transfer over. I ran a backup of the #1 drive and backed up to my second drive but I don't know if that is going to help with my goal.

You will have first to prepare your existing system by separating your user content from the system. An easy way to do this is to create a new partition using the free version of Easus Partition Manager on your existing disk and then literally copy the user content folders under c:\users\YOURNAME\... to the new partition (right click on Desktop, Documents, etc. and change the default location). Keep the same folder names as the original. Don't do this by moving the default location of these "shell folders". We'll do this later.
Depending on how much data you have on the disk, you might have to do this in a couple of passes. Copy some folders. Then resize the partition to get more space, etc.
Leave on the original C:\ partition only programs, system files.
Then backup all the partitions except the newly created partition, disconnect the older system disk from the system, put the SSD on the same connector and restore these partitions on the SSD. Here is a guide to do this:

Make sure your system boots OK.
Once there, reconnect the old system disk, reboot, delete the old system partition, move the default location of the shell folders to the folders on the content partition.
