"No Such Script" error
Hello,
I am on Acronis 2011 with Plus Pack on Windows 7 x64.
About once a week, it independently throws an error:
"No Such Script E986A031-E6DD-45B5-90AF-D9CC33B2C0F5 "
Failed to Pricess pair script: E986A031-E6DD-45B5-90AF-D9CC33B2C0F5
Operation has completed with errors.
However, this error has no header (i.e. it just says Thursday, August 30 rather than the name of the backup that failed.)
Furthermore, as far as I can tell, all of my backups (I have several file and image backups) seem to be working fine.
The closest thing I could find is this link: http://forum.acronis.com/forum/10989 However, the GUID is different. Still, my "scripts" directory is in fact missing "E986A031-E6DD-45B5-90AF-D9CC33B2C0F5". In addition, none of the backups of the Scripts directory has any such script.
Can someone please help me? Will running that "repair script" batch from that link help?
Thanks much in advance!
MikeY

Looks like the scheduler has a ghost task in it. Download and run the schedule manager command line utility. You can then find and delete the task that is trying to use the non-existent script. http://kb.acronis.com/content/1859. Also of interest http://kb.acronis.com/content/1785

Thanks for your help, that sounds reasonable. However, when trying to run "schedmgr.exe" I keep receiving "Error: 1722 (0x6BA) - The RPC Server is unavailable."
I made sure I have an internet connection, ran it from an elevated command prompt, and tried various commands - each gave me the same error.
Oh I also installed v 461 from the second link you gave me - same problem.
Any ideas on this?
Thanks again!

RPC Server is unavailable is a message linked to the Microsoft Remote Procedure Call services. Check that the corresponding services are running.
Here what I would do: export your backup settings, move your existing TIB files to another directory on the same disk, uninstall the plus pack, then uninstall ATI, reboot, reinstall ATI then the plus Pack, reimport your backup settings.
