no way to recover a backup...:-(((

Thread needs solution

Win 7/Acronis 2013 running on a Think Pad: all backups are damaged, no way to create a good one

Im using Acronis since many years on different computers, now happening the following
I was trying several times to make a full backup of drive C and to recover it at once, not doing anything else between. After reinstalling Acronis, booting, copying backups to a USB driver alsways the same: After choosing recovery now just a view seconds and then the message action failes. All Archives can not be validated and are marked as damaged

In the log section there is a code: action terminated with faults ox9F2C53C72E8BCD30
and furtheron: failure in Filestructure Code 10 and Code 458784 archiv damaged
and another code for the Knoledge base 0x000A0001 + 0x00070020

Does this help anyone to give an idea of what is happening?

1. Where are your backups located?

2. Restoring should not be done from the Windows application. We recommend that you boot from the ATI2013 bootable Rescue Media to perform restoring/recovery.

3. Run chkdsk /r on your internal drive and on the backup drive.
