nonstop backup issue

Thread needs solution

I've been trying non-stop backup for a few days and everything seemed to be running successfully for a few days. Now I'm noticing that the 5 minute snapshot entries have stopped in the recovery window even though the system still indicates that it is running. There's plenty of space on the backup drive; there are no error messages in the event log or the Acronis product log. All I see are previous day backups and for today there are only 5 entries taking me up to 12:23 am--nothing after that and it's 5:20 am now. Same pattern was apparent yesterday, although the point where it apparently stopped was different.

Ideas?

Thanks

Daryl,

Non stop backup is supposed to consolidate its files during the night. Then it continue accumulating slices *if there is any change to create a slice*. So don't expect a new slice every 5mn necessarily.
Rather, verify that changed files are actually backed up.

If there are not, let the computer run for a couple of days to see whether the consolidation process is happening correctly.

Note that NSB is only a different packaging of the backup technology. You might better off emulating what it does with a regular backup chain, and with auto-cleaning on, instead of auto-consolidation.
