NonStop function NOT finding all of my partitions??????

Would like to be enlightened on this one too.

Using TI 2010 and earlier I used to back up my entire system to the secure zone, and that included the hidden W7 partition and its MBR info so I could effectively restore my whole pc from acronis if everything ever went hideously wrong (which it did a couple of times and my full backups saved me).

With TI 2011 I'm using the nonstop backup option, and I've switched to partition mode and selected all partitions available.... but the little 'hidden' W7 one isn't listed (unless TI 2011's backing up of the OS partition includes that by default and just isn't telling us?) and I'm worried that should I theoretically have to wipe all my drives and do a full restore from the nonstop backup that I wouldn't necessarily end up with a PC in fully functioning order like in the previous versions full system+all partitions backups.

Can non-stop backup, with all partitions selected, be considered to be a full backup of the entire system including disk MBR info and hidden partition stuff? I don't want to run into problems later on should something go wrong.

After now completing a nonstop backup of all partitions including the OS one I think I can answer about how NSB treats the hidden W7 partition. Whilst setting up the nsb, switching to partition mode, and selecting the W7 partition, there isn't a tickbox to include the hidden W7 partition (as posted above). However, after that nsb completes and one clicks on explore and recover for the backup and looks at the partitions that it reports as having backed up, the hidden W7 partition does indeed show up as having been backed up.

I hope I'm right in assuming then that what's happening is that TI2011 automatically backs up that hidden system reserved W7 partition when the user includes the W7 partition in a nsb but just doesn't do a clear job of reassuring the user from the outset of the procedure that that will happen.

I guess for the op then, I'd venture that so long as your nsb is set to backup the w7 partition there would be no need to set a separate backup of the hidden w7 system reserved partition individually as it appears (from the explore and recover screen) that it is covered in the nsb of the w7 partition - at least that's how it looks to me in TI 2011's implementation of nsb at least, can't confirm whether that's true of other versions, and I won't say I'm sure that's what happening until a more TI2011 savvy person can confirm I'm understanding it correctly.
