Nonstop tray icon out of sync

The Nonstop backup icon in the Windows 7 tray area is always wrong. It has a yellow bang and says Nonstop Backup is turned off. If I check the main TI screen, Nonstop backup is on.

If I turn Nonstop backup off, the icon goes away. This happens whether the icon is set to show or hide.

Any fix? So far the actual Nonstop backup seems to be behaving as advertised, to the backwards icon is a minor inconvenience.

My tray icons have disappeared entirely. When I first installed Home2010 they worked fine. The non-stop icon was particularly helpful to know whether it was on or off. Where have they gone and how do I get them back?
