NSB Storage Full - Now what?

Thread needs solution

I have been running NSB since I installed ATIH2011 and now the storage are is full. I was under the impression that NSB managed that situation and tidied away the oldest backups and continued to do this until space is available. Then it would run as normal.

When I see the error pop up I went to the Main GUI is attached as is the last session info from the log file.

The error is 0x00640001 which does not appear to be in the knowledge base.

So what do I do now? I don't want to delete the storage!

No reply to the above and I have just 24 GB to go on NSB so what should happen when the disk becomes full. I hope it is that NSB does its own housekeeping. 24Gb means I have about 2 or 3 days before it is full.

Surprisingly, hard disks are not infinitely expandable!!!

I have the same problem and get this error when I try to clean up my backups. it used to let me delete backups over a week, but now all i get is this error. i use an Acronis Secure Zone partition to backup to.

Groovy,

NSB doesn't automatically clean up. You have to manually delete older "versions" in the timeline of the backup explorer (the window that opens when you click on the explore button/link).
This manual deletion process can be lenghty...
